We are a small in-home kennel, where our chihuahuas live as part of our home and family. All our puppies are raised inside in our nursery until they graduate to our family room for further socialisation and exploration.

A lot of thought and planning goes into each litter here at Jendrika, where genetics, confirmation, bloodline, temperament, and health are of the upmost importance when deciding on our pairs. All our breeding adults have a full DNA report done on them prior to breeding, as well as a full vet check to ensure they are free of any breed-specific diseases whether genetically or physically.

When you adopt a Jendrika puppy, you join our extended family of happy fur families and gain lifetime guidance for your newest family member.

Didn’t see the puppy you hoped to adopt? 

Many people have a specific idea about the gender/colour/pattern of their puppy and want to wait for the “perfect puppy” to be born, when none of the above lead to a “perfect” puppy. While we do breed a variety of colours, including chocolate, blue, lilac and produce various patterns/markings, including brindle and husky marked (wolf sable), getting that perfect combination can be rare and highly sought after by many others too. So, while we do have a waiting list and cater to these rarer colours and patterns, please keep in mind that the purpose of breeding our beautiful chihuahuas is not to fill homes with perfect-looking pets. It is, first and foremost, to contribute to the breed’s lines, health, and confirmation by producing beautiful and healthy puppies. Having gorgeous puppies that make loving, friendly, and playful pets as well is a wonderful added bonus.
